Once Boca Raton, Florida's most successful steakhouse from 1993 to 2007, Maxwell’s Chophouse is proud to make a new home in New York City.
In November 2016, mother-daughter duo Babette Haddad and Melissa Haddad Malaga brought to life the contemporary New York steakhouse with a menu rooted in the highest quality ingredients and 40-day in-house dry-aged beef as the star. In the award-winning tradition of its predecessor, the new Maxwell’s Chophouse boasts unique and intriguing offerings setting it apart from the steakhouse pack, including a tempting array of shellfish preparations and an impressive assortment of vegetable-centric sides. The Chophouse’s wine list features more than 500 vintage bottles; many considered “library”, sourced from the family’s private world-class cellar.
A striking black, crème and gold palate surrounds the 126-seat dining destination and private dining room in which virtually every element was custom made. Dramatic geometric chandeliers hanging from the 22-foot ceiling, tufted rich brown leather banquettes and a commodious gold leaf and marble clad bar evokes an ambiance of grand luxury. The gorgeous space was built by C&A Seneca Construction.
